12 Phillip Street, Parramatta
A new city icon for the geographic heart of Sydney and a gateway to Parramatta’s CBD and cultural precinct, The Lennox will pay homage to the past, present, and future of the area with riverside grandeur and the rejuvenation of public spaces. Timeless yet distinctive, it will be a beacon people will recognise from afar – emerging in the geographic heart of Sydney.
Located at 12 Phillip Street, Parramatta, on a 6,300 square metre riverfront site at the junction of the historic Lennox Bridge and the Church Street dining and shopping precinct, the 46 level mixed-use development is being developed via a Project Delivery Agreement in conjunction with City of Parramatta and PCC DevCo1 Pty Ltd, with development management by EQ Projects. The Lennox will comprise 431 residences across 39 levels, as well as a substantial retail precinct and eight levels of basement parking.
The project has been an engineering first, employing a number of innovative elements:
- Two-stage jumpstart to overcome the complexity of the 9 level basement
- 3.6 metre transfer structure that consisted of 39 separate pours to overcome the disrupted core load path
- The tallest machine roomless lift in the world
- The largest automated parking system in the southern hemisphere
